Pet care experience
Hello. My name is Jaylene. I am 21 years old and I love animals. I have volunteered in no-kill shelters in NY. I am currently helping a small mom and pop no-kill, cage free feline shelter in Afton, NY. I have fostered kittens, cats, puppies and dogs. In my 6 years of fostering and pet sitting, I have bottle fed kittens and taken care of senior pets. I have also taken care of bunnies, birds, turtles and frogs. I offer love, care and fun. My services include walking, playing, brushing and cuddling. That's just the fun stuff. While pet sitting, I will clean the area in which the pet sleeps, eats and plays. I mop and sweep and wipe down counters. I go above and beyond to make sure your fur baby is comfortable and happy. After cleaning, I spend time with your pet which may include watching a movie, giving treats and cuddling.
Reviews
This is probably the 4th time that we have had Jaylen take care of Vince and Roswell. She sent report cards daily and pictures - these reports I awaited for eagerly each day. She even brought in the mail and brought out garbage and recycle bins on the appropriate day. I came home to two well cared for cats. Anytime I book through Rover, I check to see if Jaylen can come cat sit.
Jaylene has once again done an amazing job with Vince and Roswell. I love the report cards and pictures that I received each evening. She has managed to get Vince to take to her and that cat is scared of most anything. She goes above and beyond with those two and even takes the care that I do with putting food outside for the outdoor cats that come and visit.
Jaylene was a life saver and went above expectation. Thank you again!
Jaylene is the best! I appreciate her taking awesome care of my kitties every time. :)

When I care for pets in my clients home I make sure to clean up after the pets if they make any messes, I care for their home as if it was my own . I will not leave your pets alone for any longer than 3/4hours . I love snuggles and I love for them to sleep with me on the bed . I'm very good with giving medication and following any other details. I do well with giving long 20/30 minute walks to pets. My favorite thing to do is give treats to the cuties :)

Before pet sitting I would like to know if they are easy going or if they are a little feisty. I would like to be informed about what they do and do not like and where I can pet and where I can not pet. I would want to know if they are more of a playful pet or shy pet, are they clingy and can not stand to be alone or are they okay with being alone . If they have any things they like to do and what their favorite treat or meal is. Do they have any previous health problems . Do they have any injured or sensitive parts. Are they hard of hearing or seeing. Also if they are neutered or not so I can know if I need to bring any dog diapers or cat diapers for the females . Have they just given birth? Do they have a litter or pups? I don't have any breed preferences I just want to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible and not cause them any stress or harm. I want them to know they are safe and loved.
A typical day
I can walk dogs and cats any size and any breed. I love playing with pets and taking them to the park. I can also brush their fur if needed and give them treats and toys. I have no problem cleaning up feces or throw up or cat litter.When I pet-sit I Make sure to clean the area that they stay in, I clean the beds, give them fresh water and food, I Mop and sweep and wipe down their toys. I also clean up any mess they make and take out the garbage. When I do home visits I hang out with the pets, lay down with them and cuddle, I also put on the tv just in case they want to watch.

I work partime at a senior home and I take care of their animals . My daily and weekly routine is free and flexible. Pet care fits very well into my everyday schedule .
