I’ve been lucky enough to have been raised around animals most my life. Dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, horses, ponies, cows, calves, donkeys, chickens, birds, rabbits, reptiles - you name it! 🦮🐈🐴🐄🐔🐰🦎 I was the little girl that would cry everytime I had to leave an animal’s presence (which drove my parents bonkers 😅) I was and still am passionate regarding the well being of all forms of life! I have experience with different sorts of wildlife, when I volunteered with AIWC (Alberta Institute for Wildlife of Conservation) for 2 years! 🦫🦔🦨🦉🦅🦆🦊🦇🦌🐿 I’ve always been described to have a positive energy that animals reciprocate with calmness or an excitement for attention! ✨ I have my own cat, as I live in an apartment and he is spoiled with love, toys and treats! 💙 I have my own vehicle and am able to travel anywhere in the city. In my spare time, I enjoy taking care of my plants 🪴 travelling ✈️ time in nature 🌲 and sitting around a campfire with family or friends! 🏕 I have my credentials such as a police background check and various other certificates as my professional experience is in the field of social work. 💛 I look forward to hearing from you and the opportunity to care for your bundles of fur (or not fur) 😊

Our initial meet and greet, I knew Jaylene would be a perfect fit for Tucker. He absolutely loved her on sight. I felt at ease leaving my pup with her for the day. She has a calming, positive and kind spirit and we can’t wait to have her back!

You couldn’t find some one who would be more suited for this than Jay. She’s knowledgeable and confident when it comes to dealing with both cats and dogs. Her cat Gibson is her world and I wouldn’t expect anything less when walking/ watching your cat or dog!!!!!!

A typical day
After introduction, I will attend to whatever the requirements of your pet may be! If they are high energy, I will make sure to burn as much of it for them as possible in a healthy and fun way! We can play fetch or go for a nice jog on a trail with tons of sensory for your pet! If they are elderly, we can go for a slow paced walk with lots of breaks in between! I love stimulating cats with hide and seek or sensory toys and treats!

I am currently available anytime, with enough notice! I am on a leave of absence to care for my parent and assist their transition into assisted long-term living. I plan to be working back full time in my field of profession Monday - Friday within the next 4-6 months.
