Pet care experience
Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up sharing my home with dogs, and spent my high school years volunteering and working at the local vet clinic. When I was 15 my family adopted Dusty a 100 lbs Weimaraner and rescue dog. For years I worked intensively with Dusty to rehabilitate him until we could walk calmly together, and he could freely roam the house during the day (without destroying anything). Moving to the city for school, one of the hardest things for me is being apart from him. I miss the long walks, snuggles, and care of sharing your home with an animal, and will treat your canine family as if they were my very own! Though I’m in the heart of downtown, my apartment is centered between two awesome green spaces (including one with a dog park) and I spend many sunny afternoons at the park, beach, or hiking around Toronto. If your dog is active and outdoorsy, we can go on long hikes together, or a stroll along the waterfront. If they are more of an homebody I have a cozy apartment with a queen sized bed for them to cuddle up in while we listen to CBC together. Regardless of their personality, I’ll make sure that your dog has a great staycation while you’re away, and I’ll send you tons of adorable photos to keep you in the loop about their adventures!

Jayeden is amazing, we are so happy we found her to look after our 3 dogs while we travel - we had peace of mind that they were in great hands. She was extremely patient with our rescue and sent regular updates letting us know how the pups were doing. Thanks Jayeden!
I feel so fortunate to have found Jayeden! She is dependable, trustworthy, and an overall great person. She LOVES her work, and it shows. I had booked a very last minute vacation which meant our regular sitter was fully booked. I was extremely hesitant to work with a new sitter, but Jayden was impressive from our very first meeting. We have 2 dogs a LabxBullmastiff and BoxerxLab, big dogs who are active, have a special diet and some behavioral issues. Jayden stayed in our home for 7 days and was super accommodating with our schedule, feeding instructions and our home. Our dogs thrive on love and attention, and she went above an beyond, we got daily updates, photos and videos of her out and about with our boys. She even timed their walks with the weather as Toronto was going throgh a major heatwave, there were many times she took the boys our for longer night walks. Jayeden even took care of our home as well which was an amazing bonus and not expected! She left our home in the same condition as when we left for our vacation along with teh sweetest note of how much she had fallen in love with our boys Guinness and Bourbon. As a furparent with major anxiety when trying a new person, I can’t say enough great things about Jayden. I highly recommend her! When you meet her (and when your pets meet her) ... you know you’re in great hands! She's the best!
Jayeden was so attentive with my cat and gave regular, informative updates while I was on vacation! I’d definitely ask her to catsit again!

I love all dogs, the bigger the better! After years of working at a vet clinic I am comfortable with a variety of methods for administering oral medication, as well as proficient in a number of different waking techniques. Hard dog to walk? No worries! I can hold my own until we get to an open space where your dog can run! To best equipt me to care for your family member please let me know the following: -Any allergies or food practices (ie. GF, Vegetarian, vegan, raw, ect.) -Medications or medical concerns -If your dog is people/animal shy (or aggressive) -If the dog has any triggers or specific fears (and the most comforting way to address these).
A typical day
Though I'm right in the heart of downtown, I'm close to lots of dog friendly spaces. Close to my home I have both the lush and enclosed Ryerson quad, as well as the small and large dog parks at Allen Gardens. For longer walks, I live about 15 minutes away from Cabbagetown and love to play frisbee and catch in the open green space of the park. I also have many friends with dogs, so if your pup is a social one, perhaps we can go on a longer hike with some new pals (I'm especially fond of the trails near the Brickworks farmer's market). In my downtime I love listening to CBC radio and audiobooks, thought that's not exactly a party, the apartment will never be quiet when your dog is here!
