Hi! I'm a student currently studying behavioral biology at Skidmore College, and I'd love to help you take care of your dogs. For the past five years I've volunteered as a raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an organization devoted to raising service dogs and providing them to the blind. I've been trained in dog handling by professional service dog raisers, and trained in dog cuddling by professional dogs. In my years at Guiding eyes, I've raised two dogs and provided a temporary home for many more. Both of my raised dogs have been matched with a visually impaired person, and are currently working. I use positive reenforcement when raising, meaning a focus on rewarding the positive. No leash yanking or yelling from me. Sadly Guiding Eyes is not based in Saratoga, but I would now love to bring my experience to you and your dog! I've grown so fond of pups in the past few years, I will love your dog as if it was my own human child. I'm suffering serious dog withdrawal at college, I will drop everything to walk or play with yours!
