With almost 10 years of professional pet care experience and while still working in the field, I am hoping you will feel confident and secure in booking me to care for your fur friend. I am reliable, knowledgeable, and well versed in canine body language and behaviors. While in-facility boarding can be a great option for some dogs, I have seen first-hand that there is a level of anxiety and stress that comes with that, for pup AND parent. It can be overwhelming, too loud, too active, or just too much all around. Not all dogs are comfortable with facilities, and that's okay! This goes especially for pups with medical complications, elderly pups, very young pups, as well as dogs considered 'too small' or 'too large'- But, whether teacup or loving giant, I am professionally experienced and looking to provide specialized care for pets with parents that may be nervous about sending their baby to a bustling facility! Facility boarding can require notice VERY far in advance, or for your pup to meet certain behavioral, health, or size requirements, as well as certain vaccinations and a clean bill of health, all while charging very high prices for minimal one-on-one attention. I understand that things can occur last minute; you may have thought you had pet care covered and they dropped out, vaccines are out of date, or sometimes, things just happen! Family emergencies, business trips, or even spur of the moment weekend getaways, your pup deserves to be in good hands no matter the timeframe! I am flexible about these kinds of things, as your pup would be at home with me, OR staying in my own home where they don't need to meet facility standards. I will send you a JOTFORM link when you book with me so that I can get to know your pup, receive vaccination information, and keep all of that information on file! *Boarding in sitter's home is available only on weekends, as well as on a case-by-case basis.
