Pet care experience
Growing up around pets meant that I knew I wanted to work with them as an adult. I now have 5 years of experience in animal boarding, dogs specifically. I have cared for pets of all shapes, sizes, breeds & temperaments so am confident I can meet yours’ and your pets daily needs. Growing up I had both dog and cat pets in my family home, some of which we had from birth & others that we rescued from shelters. I love being around animals and they seem to love my energy too. Me and my friend have a private joke as he calls me ‘The dog whisperer’ haha. I hope I can be of assistance & im more than open to any questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact me. Lula had the best time with Jay. She was well looked after and Jay kept us at ease with photo and video updates whilst we were away. More than happy to recommend him to anyone! Will definitely come back to Jay again!
Jay took care of our 8 months old puppy Waffle. On the day we left, Waffle had her first period (we had no idea she was on heat!). Jay was amazing, took care of her and kept us updated for 5 days we were away. Waffle was well taken care of. We highly recommend Jay!
Unfortunately, the feedback on Jay cannot be good. Despite what he promised us, he has not been a responsive carer while we have been away. For a start, on the day we arranged to drop our dog off at his house at the agreed time, he didn't answer the phone for half an hour. He had also promised to send us photos and videos every day, and we had to ask for them, replying tersely and with one or two photos inside the house. We asked him to walk our dog in the park every day, and we don't have any photos or records of that happening. When we went to pick up the dog on the agreed day, he was not available, and his brother met us at his house... to our surprise, there were at least three other dogs in his house, each one of them in a room, closed with a "fence". Sincerely, I do not recommend his services to anyone.
Organising Teddy’s stay with Jay was super easy and he was really accommodating. We were slightly nervous leaving Teddy with someone for the first time outside of our family but Jay was reassuring and Ted had a great time. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you to Jay and his partner.

I also understand that, like humans, all animals have differing needs so I would hope you can instruct me on how regularly you would like your animals to be fed or taken for walks as I’m sure you will know them best. I’m happy to listen to your instructions and stick to what you consider a normal routine.

If possible it would be good to know of any special requirements your dog may have. What is expected in terms of daily walks, in terms of length and frequency. Any tendencies or behavioural traits would also be handy to know about. Other than that if they come fully prepared with any food/drinks and comfort items they will need then I’m sure I can handle the rest.
A typical day
I will keep a close eye on any animal I care for, making sure they’re well maintained and kept happy. I will take any dog I care for on daily walks and use any toys provided to play with them. I also have a few of my own that they may find of interest. There is a number of parks, fields & Forrest’s in the area that we can choose from at the time- so outdoor fun will not be an issue lol.
