This was our second time booking Jay and the first time was wonderful - we gave him 5 stars on the first review. Unfortunately, this time didn't go quite as well. In addition to being sick and, thus, unable to walk our dogs as planned, it seemed Jay was overbooked between training at a new job and committing to other animal sittings. I wish he would've told us his care would've been not as good because he was sick and we could've made other arrangements. He just didn't do what we expected. The dogs did not get a daily walk. Jay wasn't there at the hours we booked (he arrived late and left 5 hrs before our booking ended... with no plan to feed or walk them before we got home). Our dogs cannot be alone for more than 5 or so hours and there were stents that he planned to leave them for 8-9 hours and we had to ask friends to go help out (he ended up staying home because of his illness, though, but still couldn't walk the dogs). Two days in, we seriously contemplated having our parents go get the dogs and asking Jay to leave. Jay took good care of our house and was respectful of our property. He was quick to respond to communications and always sends pup pics. Jay is very nice. I hate writing this because our first experience with him was so good.

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience. I was under the impression the basic routine I provided would be followed as we are paying for a service, however, it was not met with the expectation I had.
