Pet care experience
I have 2 dogs, 9 year old Moose is a 50 lb Dutch Shepherd/Lab mix, and 9 year old Miles is a 15 lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. I used to volunteer at Animal Rescue Foundation and the SPCA often, and I have fostered a lot of dogs through ARF in my home. I have experience with taking care of dogs with special needs, like missing legs, being on heart worm treatment, broken bones, and dogs who are very skittish, shy, and fearful. I would love to meet your pets and I will treat them like they are my own. I am comfortable with all sizes and all breeds. I love walking, running, cuddles, playing fetch, giving belly rubs, and giving lots of treats! Thanks for reading!

Our puppy loves Jay! Super helpful for getting our pup out for some playtime on days we are away from home for longer periods of time. Highly recommend!
Jay and his dogs were so good with Polly! He sent me lots of pictures showing how much fun Polly was having, and she came back ready for a long nap - always a nice bonus with an energetic pup like mine. Drop-off and pickup were simple and stress-free. I highly recommend Jay for dog-sitting!
Jay was fantastic on so many levels. We have a dog that is very wary of new people and Jay seemed completely unphased, while also being patient and caring. Additionally, when one of our dogs was showing signs of stress he took some extra time and effort to calm him down and communicate with me. Very appreciative of Jay and will definitely be reaching out again when needed.
Fantastic with our dogs. One of our dogs gets separation anxiety and Jay was wonderful with her. Sent great updates and photos.

I have a fenced yard! My dogs mostly nap all day, but they love to play when they have friends over. They get along with all dogs, but they do get very excited when first introduced. We like playing in the yard, going on walks, and napping on the couch. Mine like to have the TV on. They also enjoy barking at the mailman.

We would love guests who have good house manners, are potty trained, and get along with other dogs. My husband works from home, so we'd like them to be reasonably quiet if they are over during the regular office hours. My dogs bark at the mailman or strange noises, which we're perfectly fine with as long as they stop after a minute or being told to stop. My bigger dog (40 pounds) would love a buddy to play with in the yard since his sister is slowing down in her old age!
A typical day
They like to play in the backyard or go on walks. Other than that they nap on the couch and watch TV. One of my dogs has bad anxiety so we are mostly at home.
