Pet care experience
I grew up with several shelter animals in our family; and have spent the last decade sitting for dogs and cats of a wide range of ages, breeds, and personalities. I am currently offering house and catsitting services.

Jay has house and pet-sat for us on numerous occasions and has been nothing but exceptional. There is no-one else I would rather entrust our furchildren to in our absence. Quite frankly, I would trust him with anything because he is one of those hard-working, reliable, honestly good people that seem to be disappearing from the world! His love and compassion for animals are obvious in the interactions between he and our pets, and it is clear how much our three animals love him back. I recommend anyone that is looking for a pet sitting/walking service to rely on Jay for these services; you can feel confident that your pet is in the best hands.

It’s important for me that we establish trust. Ideally, we might arrange some “smell time” before I touch down. Regardless, the first 36 hours of the sit, I am laser focused on establishing trust with your pet(s) and ensuring I am keeping an eye on your home.

I'll need some basics: any medications, food schedule, and any "musts" or "avoids" to make your pet(s) comfortable while you're gone. We can also talk thru how they enjoy to be played with and cared for to try to make my visit as seamless as possible.
A typical day
I am currently not offering dog sitting services. If I am watching your cat(s) while at your home, routine and stimulation will be key. I am fortunate with my job to be able to flex my schedule and ensure your pets get lots of attention. Especially the first few days you’re away, I’ll keep an eye to ensure they are adjusting well to your time away.

I have a hybrid job. While sitting for you, I will be working entirely remotely/from home. This allows me to spend lots of quality time with your cat(s) and keep an eye on the home.
