We’re back! After a short hiatus from Rover while we welcomed our first HUMAN son, we have decided to return. Seeing the way our son, now a toddler, LIGHTS up whenever he encounters another dog we realized we want to share our love for animals with him, and teach him valuable lessons in caring for others. We do ask that your pup have experience with little ones being around :) About us: My wife and I both grew up caring for a variety of animals. She was the kid who would bandage a sore paw, and delighted in bringing a "smile" to her Pup's face by playing and adventuring outdoors. My dogs have been the consummate companions on road-trips, boating adventures, and backpacking journeys. Our dog: Our 45 lb black lab is spoiled to a nearly-embarrassing level. He accompanies my wife to work on most days (she spends most of her day traveling throughout the Central Coast) and if your dog enjoys car rides, s/he is welcome to come along. With the addition of his human brother, he would very much love some canine companionship! Accommodations: We live in a large house with a decent sized fenced back yard. There are a number of parks within distance of a short walk or drive. As well as Lopez Lake with plenty of hiking opportunities. During your pup's stay, s/he won't be bored! Enzo also has a plethora of toys that he won't mind sharing. When it's time to chill, we like to snuggle up on our dog-friendly couch or bed to watch movies or read. We have been through a number of puppy-training and obedience courses, and though our dog may be thoroughly loved, we make sure not to encourage bad manners or behavior in him or any other dog that we host. Enzo loves to make friends, and we love to host visitors. We also ensure our son, although he is just a toddler, is respectful and gentle with dogs. We promise to ensure your pup is always comfortable. We would be happy and excited to meet and care for your canine!
