i treat your dog like one of my own
Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Jay and i absolutely love animals. for about a year i’ve volunteered at the animal shelter in doral where my main objective was to watch and walk dogs, so i’m experienced in how to handle them. i treat all dogs as if they were my own- lots of love and attention. I do have a cat, however if you would feel more comfortable about your dog not being in contact with him, i will make sure of it by keeping him in a room away from your dog (i also have a puppy gate). My other animal, biscuit, is a 14 year old beagle that loves other dogs but, again, if you’d be more comfortable with no contact with her that’s completely fine. My main objective is to care for your dog and i will do all in my power to achieve that. :) I should also mention i’m in school and not currently employed so if i’m not home with your pup than my mother will be home to watch over them for the few hours i’m gone, otherwise i’ll be home with your pup !

Jay was amazing with Jack who is pretty shy and takes a bit to warm up to. She kept me updated with text messages and pictures which really put me at ease since this was my first time using Rover. Jay is always timely in her responses and is very kind/patient. Thank you Jay!
Jay updated every visit and played w/ Sam, including treats and pets that he loves. I would recommend Jay for anybody that needs their pet to feel loved and full of attention!

things to note/ requirements: • i do have a cat that gets startled if a strange dog barks or growls at him, i understand that many dogs do this but i’d prefer that if they do that they not stay longer than a week as i don’t want to put my cat under too much stress. • if your dog isn’t house trained, it must at least be crate trained or know how to use a peepee pad • i will only keep dogs in crates when they’re not being supervised or if i’m not home • let me know what your dog enjoys doing! my main priority when dog sitting is that dogs are enjoying themselves while their owner is away
A typical day
we can go on walks around my neighborhood, the park, or even the beach! just let me know what you feel most comfortable with. I will also have toys with me that we can play with if your dog is active.
