Pet care experience
I have been house sitting and taking care of animals all my life. I grew up on a farm and cared for horses, pigs, dogs, and cats. I love animals and often prefer them to humans! My previous dog had diabetes and had to receive injections twice per day. I am a full-time student in medical school at UK. I work from home most days and am flexible to care and exercise your pet! I have a fenced in yard and a very active aussiedoodle that LOVES to play. I prefer crating dogs when I leave although I am mostly home during the day. Want me to run with your dog? Let me know and I can run anywhere from 1-3 miles in morning or evening! I have ram half and full marathons and currently run my puppy in the morning!

Jate was such a wonderful pup & house sitter! He took great care of Dash, kept us up to date with everything, and we felt so much more at ease traveling knowing our little guy was in great hands. He also lent a hand getting our mail and watering the plants, and we felt so comfortable leaving our home in his care. Cannot recommend Jate enough!
He was wonderful with my dogs. Able to work with me on short notice and kept in great contact.

I have a fenced in backyard and exercise my dog at least once a day! That includes walks, runs, and visits to his friends house! I love dogs and animals in general and love stimulating their minds with treats and tricks!

I’d love to know how much energy your pup has so I can gauge how long of walks we need to go on. I also need to know how well your dog plays with others as my dog LOVES to play!
A typical day
A day in the life of Oaks (my dog). Wake up @6 and jog 2 miles or walk depending on my workout that day. Then we have breakfast and he takes a mid-morning nap. Around lunch time we go out for another play session in backyard and then later in evening we go on another final walk when it cools down.

I currently am a full time medical student. What does that mean, I can work from home most days but have some days where I spend 2-5 hours in the hospital or class!
