I’ve been passionate about animals since I was a little kid, and my passion hasn’t dwindled since. I’ve had many different types of pets over the years and took care of them all on my own- including doing all the necessary research. Most notable though is my experience with dogs. My friends and family rely on me as a caretaker for their animals whenever they’re away.

Jasper really bonded with the dogs and took great care of them. He was very relaxed with our German Shepard and took great care of our older dog who has some health issues. We would definitely use him again!

When petsitting for a client, I like to get to know the routine and make sure everyone’s questions are answered to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. I like to know exactly where any and all supplies can be found, what the rules are, and most importantly, any safety information like allergies, health issues, medications, and what vets I can contact if need be. I follow instructions to the T and always make sure to clarify as much as possible. I also love to send updates & pictures of what I’ve been up to with the pet in question. Trust is my priority, and I put in 110% to make sure I do right by my clients and their pets.

I like to know what a dog’s general temperament is like. It’s really important for me to know how to approach a dog that I’m caring for- like if they’re very excitable and will jump on me and lick my face, or if I need to let a nervous dog take time to sniff me and get used to me before I can pet them. This is for both safety and comfort purposes. I also like to know if a dog is okay with other dogs and animals so I can prepare ahead of time if we may run into them. I appreciate knowing what to expect from a dog in general. Any and all safety and health concerns are my priority. In addition- I’ve also met some dogs that won’t eat unless you feed them in a specific bowl or won’t go use the bathroom outside unless I watch them the whole time, so those kinds of quirks are really useful to be aware of in advance.
A typical day
I love to spend a lot of time entertaining the dogs I watch. I’m a huge fan of visiting local parks & trails for walks, playing with toys, and getting all that excess energy out. My favorite thing is when a dog falls right asleep as soon as we’re done, especially if they’re a snuggly dog!

I have just about open availability at the moment, so I can spend as much time with your dog (or other pet) as needed. I have plenty of time to bathe, walk, play with, groom, or fulfill any other requests you may have.
