My dog would probably be better at crafting an eye-catching "About Me," really... Lulu might say that I'm a definite dog's guy. I know that dogs want the exercise, but it's about the scenery, too! Of course, she's probably say that I don't put up with malarkey — other people's yards are a big no-no, as is bolting out into intersections. And rough talk or bullying towards other people or dogs? Heavens no. That doesn't mean we don't have a great time! If a pleasant walk along an easy forest path is preferable to in-town meandering, I know of a couple GREAT short hikes! We have a pretty rigid anti-pest policy in our house. After a doggie play-date a few years ago, we spent several weeks eliminating fleas, and now insist that visiting four-leggers of all kinds use effective flea/tick prevention. I do freelance work at home, and love having company while I type (is your dog a proofreader, by any chance? We could work something out...) Our cat loves dogs, though has an instinct for knowing when dogs don't feel mutually! He knows how to make himself scarce. In general, you're probably looking for a human that has a genuine affection for, and understanding of the curious creatures that are dogs — not everyone REALLY gets dogs, am I right? I've raised puppies, I've trained a sheepdog. I've traveled across the country with a pooch riding shotgun. And I've provided geriatric and hospice care for aged, ailing dogs.
