When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on safety, consistency, and following your pet’s normal routine. Routine-Based Care: I follow feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any special instructions closely so your pet stays comfortable and stress-free. Consistent Presence: With availability in the mornings, during lunch breaks, evenings, and all day on weekends, your pet receives regular attention rather than long gaps alone. Pet Safety: I’m attentive on walks, careful with doors and gates, and mindful of each pet’s individual temperament and energy level. Communication: I provide regular updates and photos based on your preferences so you always know how your pet is doing. Home Respect: I treat your home with care keeping it clean, secure, and just as you left it. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, settled, and well cared for while you’re away.

A typical day
Each day is built around your pet’s routine and needs. Mornings begin with feeding, walks, and check-ins to start the day on a calm, familiar note. I typically check-in during lunch to walk and/or play with your pet. Evenings include walks, feeding, and time spent making sure your pet is comfortable and relaxed. On weekends, I’m available all day, which allows for more flexibility, longer walks, and more playtime. When I’m staying overnight, your pet receives steady care and a predictable routine from morning, lunch and through evening.

Hi, I’m Jason! I’ve been around dogs, cats, chickens - all kinds of pets my whole life and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I’m dependable, easygoing, and take pet care seriously, whether that means getting your dog out for a walk no matter the weather, sticking to their routine, and making sure your home and pet are well cared for while you’re away. I work weekdays in Lenexa from 8–5, which allows me to provide morning care, lunchtime check-ins, and evening care, along with full availability on weekends. This schedule works especially well for pets who benefit from consistent attention throughout the day. When you book with me, you can expect reliable care, clear communication, and an attentive presence for your pet.

Jason is absolutely amazing, I felt so content leaving my doggos and farm animals (chickens/baby chicks/turkeys) in his care. He updated me multiple times throughout the day, very easy to communicate with, and you can tell he just truly cares for your animals. When we got home from vacation, the dogs were nice and calm - happy to see us - but I know they felt safe and enjoyed their time with Jason watching them. Thank you so much for all the effort and care you put into the animals!
Jason was awesome!! We were so pleased and so comfortable with him at our house! We have a high anxiety dog, and he was THE PERFECT person to watch him. Our dog was actually mad when we got home!
