Pet care experience
I have no pets or kids and only sit one dog at a time to provide adequate attention and care. My wife and I treat dogs as a part of our family with ample play time, snuggles, belly rubs, and noggin scritch scrotches. We love playing games like tug or fetch or just running around with them in the yard or the house. We go for at least 3 walks a day in addition to play-time. For their safety, we do not take pets to off-leash dog parks or leave them unleashed outside. We also do not leave pets unsupervised in our yard even though it is fenced. Pets are allowed on furniture but not on the bed. We have a baby gate to prevent dogs entering the kitchen for their safety.

Charlie was pulling at her leash to get through Jason’s front door when we brought her back for a second stay. We left her for two weeks the first time and she still was THRILLED to see Jason and Samy. When we’ve brought her back for repeat visits to other sitters or doggy daycare, she normally drags her feet once she realizes where she is. That’s not the case here. Our dog Charlie treats Jason and Sammy as if they are her lost family members. She’s smitten. They take such good care of her, sending us regular updates and photos to show she’s happy and loved. This visit she even got to go to the beach, officially making it a better weekend with Rover sitters than with parents. 100% will continue using Jason and Samy as much as we can.
Jason and his wife were great with Toby while were out of state for a week. They sent daily videos and updated us about how he was doing. Toby clearly loved staying with them. They even taught him a new trick! Will definitely be rebooking with them in the future!
I have nothing but stellar things to say about Kobe's time with Jason and Sammy. They were so attentive and reached out with many pictures, videos, and helpful questions for how they could make Kobe comfortable in their home. We felt so at ease knowing Kobe was well cared for and having a wonderful time while we were out of town. Thank you so much, Jason and Sammy!!!
