Retired Veteran and Dog Lover

Pet care experience

Retired veteran and dog lover who will provide tons of love, playtime, walks, and treats. I am home most of the day, and can provide quality time bonding with your dog. I adopted my very first puppy in July 2018 from an animal shelter. My puppy, Gemma, was eight weeks old when we first met, and she immediately captured my heart. I may have adopted her, but she definitely rescued me. Most of our days consist of 2-3 walks a day, lots of playtime, and interacting with neighborhood friends, children, and other dogs. I can also come to your place, and feed or walk your dog... or both. My days are flexible as I am retired, and although I am also a full-time student, I definitely have plenty of free time for the pups. Hosting preferences, dogs weighing less than 75 lbs. is preferred.

How a person treats their own pets shows how they will treat others. Jason’s love for animals and his ability with animals is evidenced with his own pup, Gemma. As a result of his loving care, she is a well adjusted, happy, friendly, healthy, and loving pup. He shares that love for animals with many of us. See what that love can do for your four legged kids! 😇

Jason is the epitome of the term "dog lover." I have seen him with his dog Jemma and it is clear to me that her well-being is top priority. I have entrusted him on multiple occasions to care for my fur-babies and was confident that my dogs were in great hands. There is no doubt in my mind that Jason would take care of anyone's dog with the same love and affection he gives his own.

I see Jason on a daily basis as he walks his sweet girl Gemma!! Jason is the perfect “dog dad!” He goes above and beyond for her and it shows! She loves him so much and it is so sweet watching their relationship! Knowing how well Jason is with all of our neighborhood animals, I would 100% trust him with my fur baby without a doubt! You will not regret it.

I think a great reflection of a dog sitter is their own pets. Jason has a beautiful little angel named Gemma. She is loved beyond measure, healthy and happy. He has watched my little furry baby Lady several times and every time I come to get her she doesn't want to leave!! Responsible, loving and fun. Jason in a nutshell.

Information Jason N. would like to know about your pet

Prior to sitting your dog, I would like to know if he/she is: - potty trained - crate trained - aggressive (with toys, bones, food, children, adults, other dogs, etc.) - takes any medication - has a certain diet - is allergic to anything - can (or can't) have certain treats The safety for your dog, and mine, is my #1 priority when dog sitting. I will not accept any aggressive dogs in my home.

A typical day

I have a medium-sized backyard for playtime, and to run off some puppy energy. Tons of toys, and treats are always in stock at my place. We also believe in "sharing is caring". I typically walk my puppy in my neighborhood 2-3 times a day depending on the weather. Each walk equates to approximately 1.5 miles, and I always carry water along each walk.
