Pet care experience
Hi, we’re Monica and Jason and we’d love to meet your furry family members! We both grew up with dogs and other pets, and as adults have raised a few of our own. Since we don’t currently have pets of our own, we regularly help family and friends with their pups, cats, chickens, fish and more. We’ve also had experience pet-sitting for others through the website Trusted House Sitter. We love animals and can handle any dog, big or small, anxious, timid, high or low energy, counter surfers, etc. We have a fully fenced backyard and live close to forested parks, beach access, and trails - your pup will get as much play time as they prefer and the weather will allow.

Jason has cared for our dogs many times. We have 2 big dogs who love him. He has stayed at our house and also has watched them by dropping in throughout the day. He communicates well and is there when he says he will be. I would highly Recommend Jason for your pet care needs.
Jason was a great help with our very energetic miniature poodle. He spent lots of time with her, played, gave her plenty of snuggles, and event sent photos while we were away. He'd also take good care of our home and made sure it was always as nice as we'd left it (sometimes even a little nicer!). I highly recommend him to watch a pet.

We thoroughly enjoy getting to know them and their unique personalities and we’re sensitive to their individual needs. Our home provides 13,000 sq ft of outdoor space for running around and exploring our fully fenced back yard, as well as a tidy and cozy indoor space for relaxing. We live on a dead end street in a quiet part of town with minimal traffic. We promise to always provide a safe, clean and caring environment for your pet.

Let us know if your dog has any quirks or special needs we should know about - how they behave around other dogs and people, if they have any triggers or allergies, and/or if they need medications at certain times of the day or otherwise strict routines they need to follow. We'd be happy to accomodate to ensure your pet's comfort and safety.
A typical day
We'll make sure your dog can follow their daily routine plus walks and play time - we're happy to take them for walks at local parks to check out all the local smells and play fetch with them in our fenced backyard.

Availability
We both have flexible and variable work schedules, and primarily work from home but do have to go into the office from time to time. We can easily keep an eye on our furry friends when we do work from home, making time for walks, bathroom breaks and play time to be sure they get plenty of exercise and attention throughout the day. We’re happy to care for animals during the day, overnight, and on weekends as our availability allows. Due to our variable schedules, we prefer to book week to week for repeat clients, but will keep our availability updated on Rover as far in advance as possible.
