Pet care experience
I have earned the privilege of becoming a Star Sitter with Rover through meticulous care of the pets my clients have allowed me the privilege to care for! My approach to being a Star Sitter is prompt, meaningful communication with pet owners (many people have never entrusted others to care for their pets before), thoughtful visit updates on Rover Cards, and flexible scheduling. I also am grateful and humbled by the amount of repeat bookings I have with pet owners. Over half my clients have repeat recurring bookings. I would love to see some new fresh faces, big and small! If you are a new client and have multiple pets, please set up a booking for your service date(s), information about each pet, and custom rates will be arranged prior to a completed booking. The Rover estimate for multiple pets is not a final estimate on what you will pay. I set the final rate for each booking. I always do my Rover visits myself; I never allow family or friends to come along. I ask about any troublesome areas not to walk your pets. When out walking your pet, I avoid other pets and overly-eager humans who want to meet the animals I am caring for and will cross the street when I see someone else walking their pet(s). No matter what assurances I have from pet owners that they interact well with other animals, animals being cared for by someone else have a tendency of acting differently. I do not engage in distractions that lead to me losing focus of our surroundings such as texting, using headphones, or making phone calls while walking pets. If I need to communicate with a pet owner, I will find a safe place to stop and message a pet owner.

I like to discuss how your pet(s) are trained, your expected behavior I uphold while caring for your loved-pet, how they interact with other animals, details about your neighborhood if appropriate, problematic neighboring animals (whether inside or outside), and specific medical/medicine care needed. I like to know if they have specific ways they like to be fed, owner-provided special treats, and food allergies.
A typical day
I would love to go on walks in your neighborhood, your backyard, or anywhere close by that they love! I love playing fetch, and personally going to fetch the ball when the dog decides it's my turn to get the ball! Sometimes animals also want to just sit/lay and hang out and get their lovings in, especially if their owners are gone on vacation/a long work day.

Availability: ~ Scheduling: All pet owners have to pick a specific block of time for a scheduled service. Most pet owners have a flexible time window they’re willing to have for their pet. In order to take care of and visit pets in a linear path throughout my service area, please provide me with a time window that you are willing to allow for your pet’s booking. ~ FREE services provided upon request: I will bring any packages into your household that are delivered prior to my visit. If you would like me to bring in your mail, please feel free to ask! If you have a wood stove/pellet stove and need me to fill it, please provide me instructions/pictures/short video and I would be happy to during your pet’s visit/while you’re on vacation! If you are on vacation and need your trash/recycling brought to the curb, please feel free to ask!
