It's important that your dog is able to use a crate. This is for safety and liability reasons as I take the care of your dog very very seriously. This policy is not because I intend to crate your dog a lot. I crate whenever I leave the house temporarily to run errands or do walks as it is the best way to keep both your dog and my house safe without supervision present. I also sometimes crate at night if a dog doesnt settle down and sleep when its time for bed. This is for the same reason. The next important thing is temperment and your dogs history with other dogs. I do not accept dogs that are aggressive or have a history of aggression. This is for the safety of my own dogs, your dog, and any other boarders I might have. If your dog has never been around other dogs or rarely interacts with other dogs we will need to be cautious so let me know and we can arrange a meet and greet. The next important item is to let me know if your dogs have special needs so we can be sure I will be ready and able to address them. I have two large crates available so you don't need to bring one unless your dog is really really large. I have tons of dog bowls, dog beds, and dog toys so you don't need to bring them unless you want to. You will need to bring dog food, any medicine your dog needs, and a leash while you drop off and pick up. If you dog will only sleep on its own dog bed you can bring that too.

I like to explore as much as I can on walks and make it enjoyable for both of us. For boarding and daycare your dog has two wonderful and well behaved playmates (my two labs). At home I like to engage dogs with some fun games of fetch and tug and some light training with treats. In my fenced backyard the dogs can romp and play. Sometimes on hot days I break out a shallow kiddie pool and let them cool off for a bit.
