An animal lover with training and qualifications in dog training and psychology and a wealth of experience ranging from training and supporting rescue dogs to assisting training classes of puppies and young dogs. I grew up with working dogs, and have spent the last fifteen years learning about and caring for animals in different capacities. I'm currently studying and experiencing different training methods to develop a skill set to work with many different dogs from a range of backgrounds. I'm currently attending dog classes to expand my experience and knowledge, observing and assisting classes mostly with puppies and young dogs, which works to balance out my prior experience which was predominantly with adult rescue dogs. I've worked with or supported rescue dogs with different issues, including (but not limited to) separation anxiety and dog reactivity. This, along with my studies into dog psychology, has given me a good understanding of where such issues tend to come from and how to avoid them developing.
