Jason is professional and caring for our pups, and they love him too. He does a great job keeping us informed and sending us daily pictures of the pups out and about on their walks with him. Jason is also very friendly and personable with us!

Unfortunately, this stay didn't go as well as we had hoped. We booked Jason to stay with our two four year old Siberian Huskies over New Year's weekend. Jason came over for a meet and greet and said he had a ton of experience watching dogs that were high energy and need a lot of activity. He said the daily routine (walks/dog park visits) that we requested would be no problem. However, we were disappointed to find out that the dogs were left alone the majority of the first night, as he left the house almost immediately after we left for the airport (around 9 PM) and did not return until close to 1 AM. Furthermore, the dogs were not walked the next day or let out to go to the bathroom for hours while he slept in/watched TV. The straw that broke the camel's back was when we asked for pictures on their walk, and he went outside with the dogs for nine minutes, snapped a blurry pic and came back inside only to tell us he took them on a long walk and went as far as detailing a mile-long route that we knew he didn't take them on. We know that he was not being truthful about the walks because our home security system notifies us when the doors are opened and closed and there are security cameras too, which never showed anyone leaving the house. We were incredibly anxious knowing that our dogs weren't getting the attention they needed and especially felt we were taken advantage of. It was difficult to get updates from Jason and ultimately we asked him to leave and had a family member come and pick up the dogs for us for the remainder of the weekend. This was the first negative experience we have had with Rover. While we didn't feel our dogs were in danger or intentionally neglected, we do wish that Jason had been truthful if he didn't want the responsibility of caring for two high-energy dogs for the weekend. And we especially didn't appreciate being lied to when we had video/security system evidence that was contrary to what he told us.
