Experienced Reliable Dog Sitter!

Pet care experience

Hello! I do believe your dog, as a bunch already have, will love to stay with my wife and I. My wife and I are both graduates of doctoral programs in clinical psychology. I am working full-time, with my wife staying at home to care for our gentle, sweet toddler. Thus, during the daytime your dog(s) will have plenty of love, attention, affection, and play-time, and will be able to be let outside in our fenced in yard as often as needed. I come home in the evenings from work, and will join in the festivities of joy, laughter, and the warmth of a household of animal lovers :) Most importantly, I am very experienced in dog walking, dog sitting, and care of animals of all kinds. I have several years of Rover.com experience (see my reviews), I have been employed by a professional dog-walking company in a major metropolitan city, and have also worked hands-on for a veterinary clinic as a kennel assistant, so thus I know how to take good care of your dog and other pets, and care for his or her health, including special needs pets! Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover ever since I laughed at my cat walking by while I was on a swing outside as a one year-old. I have loved dogs my whole life as well, especially when my parents bought a dog at my constant prompting at four years old. Ever since then, I have enjoyed every contact with dogs, have been a dog-sitter, professional dog-walker, and have worked at a veterinary clinic. I have been the proud and loving owner of several pets as well. About my yard I have a fenced in backyard of a medium-sized space, with a grassy terrain. It is securely protected on all sides. My experience administering medication Yes, I am very comfortable administering medication. When I worked at the veterinary clinic as a kennel assistant for over a year, I administered medication to both dogs and cats every day at work, in various methods. I have done so at several Rover.com jobs as well.

Can't say enough about how wonderful Jason and Angela are. They took superb care of our Daisy and our home. Not only have we found sitters, but two wonderful new friends.

We Met Jason and his wife and our dogs seemed to like them right away. In the past our dogs have had anxiety issues in kennels and such when we leave. This time we got home and our dogs were very happy and enjoyed hanging out with their new friends, Jason sent us updates and was very easy going about any questions and was very respectful. We plan to use them again soon.

Too bad we can't give ten stars! If you're seeking someone who's beyond capable, who intuitively "gets" who your pet is, and that will exceed every single expectation you have, Jason is your guy. Our dogs are spoiled rotten, have medical issues, simply put they have a lot of needs. Jason's intelligence, skill, love, compassion, and deep enthusiasm for all animals is apparent the moment you'll sit down with him. We can't imagine having anyone else care for our beloved pets, and after you meet him, you won't be able to either.

I love any and all types of dogs and pets, and they warm up to me very quickly!

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I will absolutely take your dog on walks! Every day if the dog is so willing. Sometimes, a brisk long walk around the neighborhood is nice. But often, I like to take dogs who I am sitting over to nature areas of any kind, to walk, play, dream about catching birds, etc. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I usually allow the dog to choose where to sleep, although I tend to have one boundary in that I like my bed to remain a human-bed during sleeping times. The dog is welcome to sleep in the room, right next to us! Time I'll spend with your dog We spend lots of time each day on our sitting jobs! We have the freedom, time, and energy to take your dog on at least one to two walks a day, to play with your dog, and give him/her lots of attention :) Time I'll spend with your dog I can spend as much time as requested that is reasonable. An hour to even three hours sometimes is usually sufficient for a happy dog during a one-day visit. For overnight and multiple day stays, your dog will be given plenty of quality time!
