Hi there! My name is Jason, and I'd love to take care of your dog! I grew up in NY with both cats and a Labrador retriever, and since moving to LA I've volunteered with several shelters and I've fostered more pitbulls than I can count, so I have tons of experience. I live in a spacious one bedroom apartment with my 1 year old petite pitbull mix, Spaghetti, who is so gentle and loves every person and animal she meets. She’s very playful (but not too high energy) so she’d welcome the company, and I have a small, fenced-in and turfed patio where they can play. The apartment is in a very dog friendly building and neighborhood and it’s not too far from parks for short outings. I also have a knack for training and have casually trained a number of friends' and family's dogs- I'd be happy to follow whatever regiment you have your pup on or work with them on something new. I love exercising and being outside when I can, so your dog would have lots of opportunities to see sights and smell smells, but I'm also quite skilled at hanging home and watching tv if your dog is more of a loafer. I’m new to California &’ needed someone to watch over my dogs for me for 2 days while I was on vacation. Jason was the first to hit me back and communicated very well the entire time I was gone ! He sent me plenty pictures and kept me updated every step of the way. If I could give Jason a 10 Star Rating I would !!!! HE DESERVES IT. He did such an amazing job I felt like I had to tip him in return. Definitely looking forward to contacting Jason for all my future vacations. Dogs were safe and well taken care of

OMG, Jason, and his girlfriend were THE BEST! A few months ago, I adopted a second Chi, and he was still adjusting to his new life when I had to go out of town. Jason was so easy to work with. He was super friendly and sent me updates on my two doggos every day. I felt so at ease leaving my crew with him, and I could tell right away that my two rascals were delighted to have had the pleasure of staying with Jason. I will definitely book him again, and again, and again. ♥♥♥
We scheduled a time to meet ahead of time so my dog could get used to a new person. Jason was very flexible and communicative throughout the process. No issues whatsoever. Would totally ask him to dog sit again!

I try to follow any provided instructions and guidelines as much as possible, and I like to think I treat other people's pets as if they're my own. I'm also extremely cautious and detail oriented, so i'm always thinking ahead with regard to a dog's health and safety.

Whether or not they are generally friendly, any dietary restrictions or idiosyncrasies, how often they need to be walked, any medications they take, are they reactive to anything in particular (other dogs, cars, men etc.), any training we need to be consistent with, can they be on furniture / do they need to be crated if left alone.
A typical day
I like going on long walks while listening to podcasts. I take my own dog to dog parks but to be safe I’d probably avoid that with another owner’s dog unless expressly asked. Id also avoid other places where dogs are off leash, but I have room to play in my back patio and I also enjoy doing hikes around Griffith when it’s not too hot.
