I prefer dogs and cats, as far as four legged friends go. I enjoy the company of animals and feel very comfortable around a variety of sized dogs and breeds. I have watched over a total of 6 Yorkies, a Jack Russel Terrier/Chihuahua mix, 2 Mini Goldendoodles, 2 Golden Retrievers, and the cutest Mutt that is now 3 and no one has a clue what she is, 3 Bischon Lhasa Apso', a Dauschand mix, and 7 cats. And I just as happy to meet the newest "fur-riend" as I was when I got my first pet. I grew up with three cats, two dogs, and spent a lot of time around the three dogs that my Grandmother had/has. I’ve always been the one to be in a room of people, but engaging with whatever animal I happen to spot wherever I am. I currently watch 2 dogs, 1 Catmultiple times a month and sometimes 2 additional dogs and 1 more cat now that a friend of mine has moved back to New York. They are tended to, allowed to play, but we abide by all rules and are closely monitored so no accidents happen. All needs are met because I take my responsibility to the owner and the dogs seriously. The family I have watched for the most has referred me. To their family and friends and basically added more joy to my life. I'm good about keeping in contact, sending updates and photos just to ease the owners mind. I scoop litter. And pick up poop or other oopsies when necessary. I've dealt with doggy diapers! I don't mind bathing dogs at all. And other small household duties don't bother me either but can be discussed upon meeting. But no matter how long the stay is or stubborn the fur baby is, I truly enjoy every bit of it.
