I have 8 years of paid pet sitting experience and have been a pet owner and lover my whole life. I am currently a fur mama to a calico cat named Ava and a short hair named Cooper. I am experienced in puppy training and elder dog/cat care, including admin of meds. I am an attentive, loving, and patient animal handler and caretaker. I value communication highly and you can expect to receive timely and consistent photos and updates of your pet(s) when in my care. I currently live in Bloomfield/friendship area and am a fourth year MD/PhD at the University of Pittsburgh, currently working on my PhD in Neuroscience. My schedule is very flexible, though mornings and evenings generally work best. Thank you for considering me as your personal pet sitter! I can't wait to meet your fur family! Jasmine is an absolute treasure of a pet sitter! Went above and beyond to take care of my kitty, I could see that they really created a bond while spending time together. Every day I got a very descriptive report card and plenty of pictures, they made me smile so much! Especially appreciate it since I was gone for a long while on vacation. We absolutely loved Jasmine!! More importantly, our Bailey girl just absolutely adored her!!! Bailey is in love with Jasmine and they have such great chemistry! We always look forward to the days she comes by to see her! Jasmine is so polite and courteous most especially understanding. Jasmine was such a wonderful sitter for my cat! She made sure to ask lots of questions during the meet-and-greet. She sent me a detailed description each day of how things were going and made sure to update me if there were changes in her schedule. Communication was informative, easy and stress-free. I would highly recommend Jasmine to anyone and will definitely be booking her again.

I am patient and have experience with behavioral remodeling and training out difficult behaviors. I do not use any sort of punishment and teach only through positive reinforcement. You can trust me to have excellent communication regarding your pets visit/walk/stay.

Before sitting or walking your dog, I would like to know their age, mastered skills/tricks, energy level, & favorite toys/treats/activities. I am open to all breeds and ages.
A typical day
Your dog(s) and I will practice tricks and training for reward, go on walks in your neighborhood or on nearby trails or to the local dog park (if requested), and play with toys inside or outside in your fenced backyard. I also like to run with dogs by request, if they are able and it fits in my schedule. Of course, your pets will also get unlimited quality snugs and attention during our time together!

I’m an MD-PhD student with very flexible hours. I live in Bloomfield and am able to bus, walk, or bike from my office at Children’s Hospital during the work day if needed.
