Pet care experience
I have been working and caring for pets for over 5 years now. Being a veterinary student further boosts this experience as I am able to take extraordinary care of pets and am train to know when something is wrong. I am able to care for dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, and various other exotic animals. I can administer any kind of medication as well as exam animals for potential issues. My pup, Zelda, loved staying with Jasmine! I loved the updates and pics that Jasmine sent throughout the stay. My pup had a recent knee surgery and I felt so comfortable having her stay with a vet student who knew how to care for her. I think Zelda wants to go back just to play. :)

Since I am not currently boarding dogs, I gladly house sit. In these cases I respect all instructions given to me and do what makes the pet most comfortable. For example, I was house sitting for one dog who had separation anxiety. In this case, the dog was kenneled per owner instruction for when I was at work. When I was back I spent as much time with the dog as possible to simulate a normal day for her.

Before taking an animal, I like to know of any health conditions, behavioral concerns, and how they respond to other animals. I can handle most any situation but just like to know of any concerns ahead of time so I can take the best possible care of your fur baby!
A typical day
Right now I am unable to board pets but will gladly take them for walks. I know several forest trails and can take them to the baseball park in Kulpmont. I often take my dogs to the State Forest as well.

Availability
As I am a veterinary student, weekends work best for me but I can do weekday evenings with prior notice. I am as flexible as I can be but am willing to work with any schedule.
