My name is Jasmine and I am 23 years old. I am passionate about working with companion animals. I am currently employed as a dog handler at a doggy daycare called Canine Crews. I have also attended a year long program at UIUC where I studied animal behavior and nutrition. I am very knowledgeable about the care our pets need. I plan on continuing my education by attending University here in my beloved city, Chicago, where I was born and raised. I can easily navigate the city allowing me to take our furry friends on the best walking routes and to the dog friendly parks. On top of my animal related studies and experience at daycare- I have been dog sitting for friends and family the past few years- I just didn’t know there was an app for it! I am currently working part-time at Canine Crews, which means I have plenty of time to play and provide the attention your pups deserve during their stay! My availability changes(see calendar) but I am typically available on weekends and Mondays. Safety- I have worked with epileptic dogs so I experience in delivering emergency medications for seizures. I am certified in dog CPR. I also know how to check pulses, wrap wounds, and give oral meds in case of emergencies when working with special needs or elderly dogs.
