Pet care experience
I am an aspiring veterinarian! I will be going to NAIT to become an animal health technologist (AHT) to further my education. I have my bachelors of science degree in animal health from the U of A. I've worked as a tech assistant at VCA Calgary trail animal hospital full time for a year and a half. There, I've encountered and handled dogs ranging from 2 lb to 250 lb. I have handled a wide range of breeds, from fiesty chihuahuas to gentle giant breeds. I've volunteered at Dogs With Wings Assistance Dogs Society and at my local vet clinic. I have a little dachshund named Neville who is the love of my life! He is almost three years old and has such a vibrant and quirky personality.

Before heading out with your furry loved one, I'd like to know some basic personality traits. Does your dog do well on walks (ie. leash pulling issues) are they prone to aggression? How does your dog do around other animals or people? A specific gender they dislike? How do they tolerate car rides? Are they allowed treats? Do they have any allergies or health related issues that I should be aware of? And anything else you can tell me would be appreciated! The more I know, the better care and exercise I can provide for your pup. :)
A typical day
I can walk your dog in your neighbourhood or, with your permission of course, take him/her to a more scenic place and do a fun trail. Depending on the dogs personality and behaviour, I can also go to off leash dog parks and throw a toy around!
