Pet care experience
My name is Jasmine, I currently work as a boarding attendant/dog bather at a local animal hospital. I went to school and have experience in zoo keeping, I worked with primates such as gorillas and bonobos, and I also have worked with giraffes, bison, macaws, pythons, and more! I also have been dog/cat/house sitting for around 10 years now. It started with my family asking me to help and I just loved it and kind of branched off from there. I have experience with puppies as well as older dogs. I also have taken care of a large variety of dogs, from havanese to mastiffs. I love walking and exploring new parks and places in my area so I would also love to take them on walks. I also have taken pets to vet appointments if need be.

I prefer to come to clients homes because I generally think it makes it easier for the pets because that is their home and they’re more comfortable there. So I will care for them how you normally care for them and try to keep it as close to their normal routine as possible. I do have a Dalmatian puppy myself who absolutely loves to play so if your pets are good with other dogs and he is welcome, he would love to play and wear them out

I work at an animal hospital and have taken care of a variety of different dogs such as puppies as well as senior dogs and cats that need medicine. I am comfortable and experienced giving medications and making sure they are taken care of properly. I’ve given oral meds and also injections like insulin.
A typical day
I love to go on walks, I love in oberlin so I will go down town by the college to walk sometimes, but I also love going to different places and parks such as mill hollow, French creek, up town Amherst and where ever it’s a dog friendly place

Availability
I currently work at an animal hospital but my schedule changes week by week if I am working I do get a 2 hour lunch so I will go take care of the pets during that time and then before and after work as well.
