I've lived with dogs and cats since I was a baby and almost all my life up until my fur baby Toby passed away in June of 2020. I had 15 years of experience caring for him. He grew up with me as I got him when I was 11. Since we first got Toby he immediately became MY dog and no one else's. He slept with me in my room every night and went through all the milestones of my life with me. He moved out with me after graduation, and was there with me through motherhood. He was my first baby and apart of my family. In my last years with him I learned how to care for a senior dog. I'm experienced in giving medications orally, topical and with shots. I know how to look for signs when a pet is not feeling well. Whether you have a puppy/kitten or senior pet who needs the utmost attention, I want to be there to help. I know how important it is for your pets to not just be fed and walked, but to feel loved and get the company they need while you are away. While Toby was my child, he was not the only family pet I had a strong bond with. My aunt's dog Jade who was a puppy when I was 1. She grew up with me most of my childhood before she moved out when I was 7. In her last years she was blind and deaf but that never stopped her from being super excited to see me when I came over. She is the cute cocker spaniel in my photos :) I have always loved both cats and dogs and would love the opportunity to be there for your pets when they need a little care and love.

Took excellent care of my cats and kept me in the loop for every visit.
Jasmin was great! Leaving my recently blind and diabetic dog had me very nervous. Once meeting her, I was put at ease. She communicated daily and sent pictures of Murphy. So happy we found her. Murphy was well taken care of!

I live in an apartment and have plenty of space for a big dog bed/crate in our living room for your pet to sleep at. There is also an area in my room if they prefer to sleep by someone. When I am boarding your pets in my home we can go on many long walks as we have a trail in our complex that surrounds a big lake area. It also leads out to a trail/bayou in the neighborhood behind us with lots of space for running. I have a gated patio too. When I am house sitting I will gladly clean any accidents or messes that may happen, and take care of your pets and home as if they were my own.

If your pet is sensitive to anything in particular like not wanting to be touched in a certain area, or does not like to be picked up, please let me know. Are they friendly with other pets and other people that may try to walk up to them while on a walk? When boarding- how often does your pet need to go out?
A typical day
I love to go on walks and runs with dogs. My apartment complex has a trail that goes around a lake area in the complex. It also leads out to a trail in the neighborhood behind us that is near a bayou, so there is lots of space for playing fetch. My favorite place to go to is Rick Rice park in Katy where there is a lot of space for running and playing fetch as well. There is a nice trail that connects to this park that goes on for miles throughout Katy, so if your dog needs a lot of exercise I can take them here.

Availability
I am currently working full time from home but have time in the mornings before my shift starts, and during my lunch breaks to do drop ins/dog walks. I am available on the weekends to do boarding in your home Friday night through Sunday. I accept boarding in my home any day of the week.
