I love animals. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, and quite a few farm animals. My preference is dogs - I mean how can you not love them - and I am comfortable bathing, walking, feeding, administering meds, playing with and helping you care for your fur family. I am a full-time professional and a coach, so energy and flexibility are second nature. With the ability to adapt to the unique needs of each animal, you can be sure that your pet will be well taken care of with me. I currently live in Shoreline, work near Lake Union, and have a semi-flexible schedule. Commuting is generally not an issue for me, so I look forward to hanging out with your pets. We have hired Jasmin for dog walks and house sitting. She is a fantastic caregiver to our pups. She is extremely communicative, sends lots of updates and photos, and is thoughtful about the jobs she accepts (she considers how many hours she'd need to be away, compares them against what your rules/needs are for the dogs and will respectful decline if she doesn't feel that she can commit, which I appreciate so much-- it showed me how honest she is .) Based on the updates and photos she provides, I can tell that she follows our instructions to a T, and is very respectful of your space when house sitting. I can't recommend her enough!
Jasmin is an excellent dog sitter, don’t hesitate to book her! We were out of cell phone service for a trip but she continued to send us updates for when we could receive them and made us feel completely safe our dog was taken care of. She always follows the directions we leave for her and leaves our home clean and tidy. Thank you Jasmin!

Jasmin was an excellent dog sitter! She kept us updated with lots of photos and followed all the care instructions we left. Our dog has some leash reactivity and anxiety and she handled her very well, we felt our pup was in safe care and would absolutely have her watch our dog again!

I like to meet a dog ahead of the scheduled care period just to ensure they will be comfortable with me. When at a client's home I adhere to the owners guidelines for care and go with the pups' temperament when it comes to play and having fun.

I'd love to know if your dog has any special needs (physical, mental, emotional, etc.) or behaviors (alert barking, protective over toys and food, etc.) that I need to account for. Knowing how they typically perform on walks, around other dogs, and with people is helpful information.
A typical day
I'm always up for whatever the pup is up for. Whether that means a nice long brisk walk, tug of war, relaxed snuggles, or training time; I'm game!

Availability
I currently work a hybrid schedule, coach high school basketball on the side, and lead a fairly active life. I am available to house/dog sit but during the day I will be in office with some flexibility for daytime drop in visits if needed and depending on commuting distance. The more advanced notice I have to work through any potential scheduling challenges, the better.
