I'm a lifetime animal lover and have been petsitting for friends, family, and professional clients for over ten years, and I also have my own pets. I have lots of experience with dogs and cats, including seniors, large breeds, and reactive dogs, and am comfortable with medications and special diets. I also have some experience with rodents and reptiles.

Jareka is a fantastic pet owner and sitter. She cares deeply about animals and is especially good with anxious/reactive animals as she is really patient, understanding, and calm. Jareka was my pet sitter for my reactive large dog for many years and he was very calmed by her presence and followed her commands. Highly recommend!

I would also like to know about any medications and the schedule for giving them. Finally, I'd like to know how your dog is with other dogs so that we can stay safe while out walking. And, if your dog likes other dogs, I would love to introduce them to my favorite dog park nearby!
A typical day
I love to get to know new animals by following their lead, whether that's playtime at home or the dog park, sniffaris around the neighborhood, or just relaxing on the couch (for those senior pups).

I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I'm happy to spend lots of time hanging out with your furbaby while housesitting! I'm available for drop-in visits starting at 10am on a flexible schedule throughout the day.
