Pet care experience
About me: I'm from Colorado originally and am now loving the great PNW! I was stationed in Virginia Beach for a few years and moved back to CO to complete my undergrad degree in psychology and grad degree in Social Work. While completing my MSW, I also obtained an Animal Assisted Social Work certificate. This is especially important to me, because I appreciate how important our companionship with our furry friends can be. In fact, the only time in my life that I've not had a dog in my home is when I was active duty and unable to provide a stable environment for pup. All that said, It is extremely important to me to understand how you take care of your pet and what is important in your furry friends care. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to discuss what times work best for you and your canine companion.

Jared did a wonderful job (again!) looking after our senior dog and caring for our house during a week-long vacation. Can't recommend him enough.
This was, I think, the 15th time we've used Jared as our dogsitter. He did a fantastic job, as always.
Jared did a great job again, caring for our dog in our home while we were out of town for 18 days. Our dog got very ill and Jared handled it very well, managing the care with the emergency hospital, communicating well with us, and assisting our dog's recovery after he returned from an overnight hospital stay. And as usual, the house was in perfect condition when we returned. We can't recommend Jared enough.
I've hired Jared several times now to housesit/dogsit. Yet again, the experience was flawless. While we're away, problems never arise. (Knock on wood.) And when I return home, my dog appears to have enjoyed his time with Jared, and the house is at least as clean as when I left.

A typical day
Being somewhat new to Seattle, I love exploring new neighborhoods. I know for my pet, he enjoys is usual walking routes. If your dog is like mine, I'm happy to stick to the usual route. If not however, I'm happy to take an extra long walk and explore new areas, parks, trails, etc.
