Hi friends and neighbors! Gloria and I invite you and your fur baby to join us for a day, a walk, or even a slumber party. I adopted her four years ago and she’s been my best pal since. Even though I grew up with dogs and cats from birth until 18 it wasn’t until Glo and I saved one another that I realized my true love of our furry friends. Since then, I’ve become the go-to dog sitter for my friends’ dogs, either while they have a busy day with repair people in their house, are gone for a little vacation, or even in the case of an emergency when they needed to address their own medical needs, their pups are right at home with us.

Jared is AMAZING with my pup, and with doggos in general. He's a dog dad himself (our girls are now good friends!) and he's reliable, caring, and affectionate. There are very few people I'd trust to care for my lil' princess, and Jared's at the top of that list. His apartment is very dog friendly and also has lots of fenced-in turf area where my pup loves to run and play. Highly recommend!!
I always feel like my fur babies are in good hands when Jared watches them for me. I highly recommend him. He’s caring responsible and an all around great person.
Jared is the only person I fully trust with my dog Izzy! He takes care of her like she’s his own and sends lots of pictures of how she’s doing every time she’s with him. Whether overnight or for a few hours, Izzy is always taken care of and I’m never worried about her when she’s with Jared. Jared’s taken Izzy for a number of days at a time too! His dog Gloria is a great friend to Izzy and they have a wonderful time together. I highly recommend him, he’s always my first call when I know Izzy needs a safe and comfortable place to go for a bit.

I live in a quaint cottage inside a fully enclosed grassy area with four other cottages. None of the other cottage owners have pets so Gloria is really the neighborhood darling! We have a couple grassy parks we can walk to nearby. I’m a pretty hands on dog dad. I love snuggles and pets. Dogs are allowed on the furniture in my home although if you prefer yours stay down so they maintain the rules at your home that’s great too. And, when in your home, we’ll follow those rules as well. I feed Gloria only her proper pet food. We’re not a feed-off-the-table kind of family (she’d never stop eating!). She does get delicious dog treats when she’s good, however!

Please let me know what special needs you and your dog have. As long as I know, I can make sure they are cared for in the best possible way!
A typical day
I typically get my dog fed right after getting out of bed. She is the lady of the house and makes sure of that ha! Then she goes out in the enclosed courtyard for quick potty. We’ll get a mid morning walk in or sometimes around lunchtime. She’s right next to me while I’m working from home and I let her out free into the enclosed courtyard whenever she indicates it’s time to potty again—or I’ll work outside when it’s nice and she comes along. I’ll wrap up work around 5PM and we’ll often take a little walk or just play in the courtyard. She does not use a crate and is free in my home when I leave. If I am out for dinner or the gym she can stay for up to three hours by herself. If we’re hosting you and have a crate you’d like us to use, happy to do that as well. Up to you! Then we typically snuggle in bed together but if beds aren’t allowed for your dog, she’s often snuggled up in the doggie bed on the floor with our guests and loves that just as much.

Availability
I work from home in my one bedroom cottage in the North Park/Cherokee Point/City Heights area of San Diego. I work from home all day M-F so I get to be with Gloria and our guests. We have a fully secure and enclosed courtyard to safely play in or take a little walk around the neighborhood. My evenings and weekends are flexible. Gloria and I are often walking Balboa Park or taking other little adventures. We’d love to have your pup along for the ride!
