Pet care experience
My wife and I lost our dog two years ago and just moved to Wilmette. We both work from home and enjoy watching dogs on the side to get us outside and to subsidize our wine habit! My wife worked at an animal shelter for a couple of years and we have both taken care of primarily family dogs and cats our whole lives, but "professionally" boarding for the 2 years since our dog. We like to take many walks throughout the day with the dogs in our care. We have plenty of space and rooms for the dogs in our care to adventure around as well as to sleep in. For owners that want this: I even take some dogs on runs with me in the mornings to the lake! We both work from home and like walking dogs as a break. We just bought a house, so spend most of our time in the house anyway fixing stuff. We have a yard that is not fenced in yet, but we have plenty of parks and the lake for walking paths. We will care for yours just as we would our own!

Jared and Amanda we’re wonderful with our dog, Elli. They have a wonderful home and took Elli on many walks throughout the day. They sent videos throughout the stay and kept in contact the entire time!

Jared and Amanda are close friends of mine, so I know how much they love and care for dogs. We got our puppy in mid January at only 8 weeks old. We decided to go on a 4 day vacation at the end of February. We were very nervous on who we would leave our 14 week old puppy with. Jared and Amanda couldn't have been a better choice. They took care of her better than we could have ever expected or hoped. They have continued to watch her and walk her when needed. They draw upon their experience of having their own dog in the past. They have a bin full of toys and always have treats/food stocked for the occasional dog sit.
Jared is very caring with all animals. He especially loves dogs and cats. His family always had both a dog and a cat when he was growing up and had his own dog much of his adult life. He has dog-sat for friends many times. I highly recommend him as a dog or cat care-giver. He is very responsible, conscientious, and caring. He can definitely be relied upon to care for pets.

A typical day
We like to walk to the lake and walk around the golf course by us. We live in an active neighborhood and there are lots of bunnies, chipmunks and squirrels to keep things exciting for the dogs.

We both work from home, so fitting it into our daily schedules comes naturally and easily. We had a dog for 8 years, so we are used to taking care of a pet on a daily basis.
