Pet care experience
I have always had pets. Now I have a disabled dog Sophie and a tortoise called Jeffery. I am very experienced in taking care of animals with additional needs, in addition to emptying bladders, and giving medicine. I have been caring for pets for friends and family for years whilst they've been away. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to join Rover.
Reviews
Jacqueline and her daughter were great with Isla. It was nice to find someone that could look after our dogs needs. Sophie and Isla settle well and went out for a nice walk on there wheels. Isla settled well and Jacqueline sent photos of how she was doing. I would be happy to leave Isla again.
Such a wonderful lady, looked after our two springer spaniels in the comfort of our home, while we went away for a long weekend. Felt so at easy finding someone lovely knowing our dogs were being well looked after. Received updates on how they were doing so you felt extremely at ease. Will definitely be using Jacqui again 100% and would definitely recommend.
I had always used kennels before but I could not get Raffy into one this year, so I used Rover for the first time & I wouldn't go back. Knowing that my dog was comfortable in a house environment, made me feel so much more comfortable whilst away. Jacqui was so helpful and flexible despite being a last minute booking.
My dog Sanco had a wonderful stay with Jacqui. I was gone for a week on holiday and she took really great care of him. Jacqui sent me regular updates and photos. Sancho got on really well with her dog Sophie and got up to some mischief together!! Sancho cannot wait for his next stay, I wouldn't use anybody else now!

My dog Sophie is disabled and can be on occasion initially be a bit weary with other dogs, but she soon warms up. She loves the company and a play mate. If your dog needs space from her, I can keep them separated it isn't a problem.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to large country parks and woodland areas where they be stimulated with loads of smells, play and if needed can be kept away from other dogs. I also have toys and balls to play with them in my house and garden. I drive so I love to take them to the coast/beach which is not too far in the car (I have a spare dog seat).

Availability
I work from home, have plenty of space and a garden outside. I live near country parks for wonderful walks. Animals joyfully fit into my routine.
