Jaqueline, Pet Mama: Your pets are your babies too! I will care for them lovingly, carefully and firmly, so you can concentrate fully on your schedule. I have experience with every age and size of dog, from pocket pups to pony-sized pooches. I'm happy to meet and care for all your pet family - kitties, bunnies, chickens and fish, too. I’m comfortable giving medications, even to a reluctant patient. Experienced with puppies & seniors. Background & Experience: I'm a lifetime pet owner, foster mama & adopter. Our current furbabies (see photos) are eight year old Dexter, a German Shorthair Pointer we adopted as a starving stray from GA; Annabelle, a tiny black puppy we 'foster-failed' and is now Dex's sassy little sister; Drummond, a 5 year old bunny we adopted from HopAlong Hollow Rescue in Norwalk; Alfie & Niki two tiny kittens we adopted from a local farm in Fall 2020 and seven hens we hand reared in our guest room! We also foster puppies who are learning find their manners with us while waiting for their forever home. I have had cats & kittens all my life, we previously had siblings we brought over from the UK when we moved here in 2007, they passed away recently at ages 15 and 16. My Mom rescued our first dog Solo, a timid German Shepherd who failed police training, when I was aged five. Other adoptees include escape artist Ben, a stray Collie X; Amber, a 3-pawed purebred Golden Retriever, and Henny Penny, a hen who fell out of a truck! I grew up on a farm in England, before moving to London. We lived in Brooklyn for 8 years, and are thrilled to have moved to Fairfield in 2015. We have two girls in school here, and I'm renovating our home and garden. I'd love to take care of your babies as my own while you're busy. It takes a village!
