Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was very young. I'm experienced in bathing, walking and training dogs. I'm currently not fostering dogs however, in the past I have worked with a nonprofit dog rescue and fostered till a dog was adopted. In the past I was a Clinic Director of a Spay and Neuter Clinic which gave me extensive experience handling aggressive, shy and passive aggressive dogs. I'm comfortable with every age, temperament and size dog. I'm currently a board member of a nonprofit cat rescue in Syracuse. I'm experienced with giving both cats and dogs various medications both orally and injectable as well as providing fluids sub-saucamious. I grew up working around farm animals as well and have experience with cows, chickens, horses, rabbits and even emus.

Janyl is talented and well educated in caring for animals. She is a trusted foster of a local cat rescue and works closely with other rescues to ensure best practices for all animals. She is a trustworthy person that I would hire for any care.
I know few people who know and understand dogs and cats as well as Janyl does. She is responsible, patient and kind to all animals and understands health needs of both cats and dogs. I think she would make an excellent caregiver for any of your pets.
Janyl has been tremendously helpful to me in trapping / neutering / releasing feral cats at my house. She is an expert in handling and caring for cats and kittens. When a feral cat had four kittens on my property last summer she helped trap them, and raised all four kittens at her home until they were adopted. She truly cares about animals and I would highly recommend her as a responsible and loving pet caregiver.
Janyl is wonderful. She is flexible, patient and compassionate with my cats and dog (Rottweiler). She walks, feeds, gives meds and gives the occasional basic bath if requested (for extra but, less than a groomer costs). I have worked with and used her for my animal care needs for years.

I have a large fenced in yard and two friendly dogs of my own. Unless boarding for an extended time, I will not introduce your dog(s) as to minimize stress to all animals. I can easily crate your dog(s) if preferred (I have all necessary supplies).

A typical day
I work hard to stimulate dogs both physically and emotionally. Long walks at a slow pace so they can smell anything (everything) they want (naturally decreased stress for dogs). Depending on the dog and owner's preferences, I will spend some time working on basic commands for treats.

I have a very flexible work schedule which allows me to care for dogs every 2-4 hours during weekdays and weekends. If I'm not available during a time that you need, reach out anyway because, my availability may differ.
