I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had 10 dogs of all kinds (Chihuahuas, mid-sized rescues, and large Labrador mixes). I was responsible for bathing, feeding, crating, and providing our pets love and playtime. Throughout high school, I volunteered with local shelters and gained a lot of experience working with and earning the trust of shy, scared, and aggressive animals. I also grew to love caring for cats and deciphering their personalities. Now, I consider myself an equal parts dog and cat lover. Being a pet owner to 2 cats (Sheeba and Fernando) has given me even more pet care experience! From cleaning up vomit to bathing cats that fell in the toilet, my ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of my energetic and mischievous furballs has skyrocketed. Above all, spending so much time with animals has allowed me to appreciate their individualized needs and cherish the pure love they offer.
