Pet care experience
Volunteered as foster, trained service animals, dogs have literally been dropped off at my house and left. Runs in the family, my parents had 13 dobeys at one point in time. I have had a Doberman Pincher, Old English Sheepdog, Rat Terrier, and now I am back to a Doberman as my furson. I have fostered English Bulldogs and Huskies and trained a Black Mouth Cur for emotion support.

Second time Coco stayed with Janelle and Pesto. Janelle is terrific and kept us up to date with all the fun Coco was having with Pesto and Janelle. Coco felt so comfortable and enjoyed her stay which is what was so important.
This was our first experience on Rover and it was GREAT! Janelle was amazing and made us feel comfortable leaving our precious puppy. She keep in contact, was responsive and shared pics regularly. Our puppy enjoyed herself and met a new friend in Pesto. Will definitely use her pet sitting services again!
Highly recommend! I will be rebooking Jennelle again. She is a genuine dog loving person, who took great care of my blind senior dog and my dog seemed to have had a great time. She kept me updated with pictures, which made me feel at ease. I also loved her flexibility with drop off and pick up times.
A bit late with my review…but, Janelle was awesome. Very flexible with last minute bookings and flexible pick up time. Houdini was well loved and exercised!

My furson does not get to sleep on the bed or be on furniture but he does have a comfy bed downstairs and upstairs. He is barrel chested so I feed him wet food and salmon oil and skin. If your pup needs special meals I have no problem preparing food. They will have a comfy bed as well and access to outside all day long. I also have a balcony attached to my room if they like to sleep outside it is available to them. Mine is not crate trained so if yours is you can bring the create and I can follow your plan. I will be home or with your pet for the entire stay.

Please let me know if there are any special needs or triggers I should be looking for in your pup. We do not visit dog parks but we do have access to a very large backyard to really run free. Feeding schedule and any other routines that will help your pup feel at home will be great. I do not know what is considered special needs but I have experience with some. I am ofter with one golden retriever that has brain damage and many tripod pups so I have some experience with certain types of special needs however, no experience with other special needs.
A typical day
Pesto and I love to take long walks or hikes. There is a pond next our house which is always fun to explore. We play tug of war and hide and seek all the time and if we are truly board we go to the beach. During the summer I am always looking for outdoor activities.

Availability
I am off of work for the summer so my days include hiking in Mt. Madonna or some other well shaded hiking areas. I have a Doberman with separation anxiety so he goes with me everywhere. I like to average 5 miles a day so if your pup is active they will do great! If you have a little one, I can modify.
