We are Trey and Janine. Our family will love your pet as much as you do! There are dogs, a bunch of cats, 2 ducks and chickens living here. We foster puppies for a local rescue. We also have experience with many other animals as well. Our family is full of animal lovers- so much so that our oldest daughter is enrolled in veterinary school! One of the others goes to the Governor's School of agriculture where she is learning how to care for many types of animals. The teenagers help with the pet sitting. Pets are allowed inside our house and when they are outside, there is a fenced area to romp with a heated dog house (in winter). The fencing even extends under the ground to deter diggers from escaping. There is also a separate area with a fence roof for those athletic dogs that like to jump fences! The dogs have a variety of places they sleep at night such as the living room or in the teenagers bedrooms. There are dog beds everywhere. The dogs do NOT have access to the indoor cats when they come inside, so no worries about dogs and cats getting along! I am the 4-H Agent for Pickens County, so have experience with a varied selection of animals. We would be happy to house your dogs, cats, rabbits, goat, reptile, etc!!! I work Monday through Friday but my husband's is semi-retired and has a very flexible schedule so there is often someone at the house. Rarely are dogs left alone more than 3 hours at a time. We have a fenced yard along with two separate kennel areas. If your dog is used to sleeping in a crate, I have ones of every size so no need to haul yours over.
