My mom is an avid animal lover which of course rubbed off on me! Since I can remember we have always had dogs & cats in our home and I was always expected and eager to help care for them. I have volunteered for local animal shelters since I was a preteen and 3 years ago I decided to pursue my dream of working with animals full time and became a CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician). I love my job and look forward to spending my days with dogs & cats galore. I currently have my cat, Connor, who I've had since a kitten and Lulu who is a senior Chihuahua adopted from Maricopa County Animal Care & Control. Not only can I give your pet the necessary attention/care it needs I can administer any type of medication (oral, topical, injectable, eye drops) while I’m there. I have dealt with pretty much any dog/cat issue you could think of and am not squeamish around the bodily fluids typically associated with taking care of pets. I love all sizes and breeds of dogs and of course cats.

Janina was wonderful from the start. Happy to come meet us with very short notice, listening and responding thoughtfully through the meet and greet. Her pictures during the stay showed that she went above and beyond to make our sweet girl feel loved. I highly recommend Janina!
I have known Janina my whole life because she is my little sister! She has loved animals always and had a heart for their safety and well being. That’s why she’s a vegetarian! She has always been the best dog and cat mom caring for her pets no differently than a mom cares for her children. I have seen her nurse her pets when they were old and sick and do everything she could to give them happy, comfortable lives. She’s also a vet tech… bonus!! Her first degree is fashion but her calling to animals brought her back to school in a new direction. She is gentle, safe, responsible and reliable. I believe in her abilities to care for anyone!
Janina was great with my little one. She made sure Dottie got everything she needed while I was gone. Thanks for checking up on my pup! Will definitely keep her mind when I need more drop-ins and would recommend to others.
Janina is honestly the best person I know. She is caring and honest. Her love for animals is without question. She is a vegetarian not for dietary reasons but as to not be a part of animal abuse. I know why she wants to pet sit, it is because she cannot have a dog in her current living arrangement and she misses getting to pet and play with one. Please let me know if they have a favorite toy, game, treat, or any special diet restrictions/allergies. If you would like me to administer any medications while I’m there please give me all the appropriate info needed for that (location of meds, name of med, dosage). Let me know if your dog is dog or kennel reactive and any health conditions I should be aware of.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on smell friendly walks. I will let your dog linger and take as many smell breaks as they wish along the way because I know that’s what dogs enjoy most. However, I will not let them eat anything off the ground, stick their head in bushes or near cacti, and will not let them make new friends with passing dogs (because you never know how that dog will react). I will adjust the length and distance of the walk based on their energy level & needs.

Availability
I am working full time as a CVT at a clinic that specializes in eyes/ophthalmology for pets; So I am only available for drop-in visits or walks on certain days at this time. I will consider offering these services on any weekdays after 5pm for repeat clients.
