I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for my neighborhood, family, and friends since I was little. I am a college student studying zoology and I have a deep passion and love for all things animal. I have previous employment at Cat & Craft (cat cafe), and Palomar Animal Hospital as a kennel technician, where I cared for animals of all types, from hamsters to cane corsos. I am an avid horseback rider and have loved the equine field since I was a little girl, and have experience caring for large animals as well. I often volunteer at programs such as the humane society, horse heritage festival, and the CCI (Canine Companions for Independence) program. I have worked with young pups and kittens, to senior and disability care. I’d love to help out in any way I can, I am a friendly, patient, and eager soul with a passion for animals, and I hope I’m the right match for your best friend! I have known Janie for over 10 years and one of the first things you notice about her is her great compassion and immense love for animals. For the longest time Janie has loved animal. I swear since the day she learned to talk it was about animals. Growing up i had many pets and Janie was always there to help me. She took my childhood dog on walks every morning and night while we were out of town. She more recently has been helping with my cats. She loves them to death and comes over all the time, whether I’m there or not, to say hello and check on them. While i was away for my birthday, she took care of them. She followed their dietary needs and instructions perfectly. If i’m ever going away or need help, Janie is the person i call.

A typical day
Depending on your furbaby I’d love to create a fun, stimulating, and memorable day just for them. If you have an active dog I’m more than happy to go on runs or small hikes, or if they’d prefer a leisurely walk around the neighborhood that’s perfectly fine too. Tell me your pets favorite toys, places to be, and things to do.

Availability
Currently I am an attendant at Palomar College, but May through late August I am on summer vacation. I will have full availability aside from my regular work schedule, which can be easily discussed. My work schedule fluctuates so I am pretty flexible.
