I have known Janice (Jay) for about a year, mostly through her volunteer service at our church where I lead her team. I also know she has a passion for animals and pursues that passion through her vocation. Jay serves people selflessly and is truly concerned for their well-being, which often requires her to sacrifice her own convenience. I trust her to care for her team and our guests because she is a good steward of that responsibility. From what I know of her work with animals at the shelter and as a Vet Tech, she stewards those responsibilities much the same way.
