Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life since I was a baby. I have cared for pets (walking and boarding) for the last 20 years. Although it's always difficult saying goodbye, fostering dogs over the years and seeing them go to their forever homes has brought me so much joy. My own dog, Hank, was actually a foster fail! He was a greyhound retired from racing and we had an amazing 6 years together. Heartbreakingly, I lost Hank to cancer earlier this year and have been missing having a pup in my home. I’m not ready to adopt again, so I would love to host your pup during your weekend away! I am active but will adapt to any pup’s needs. I am experienced in administering oral medication if needed and have pet first aid/CPR certification.

As always, an excellent, reliable and reassuring overnight boarding with Janice, whom Bentley loves dearly and feels completely comfortable with. Despite Janice recently experiencing a fracture, she still was able to help us in our time of need… a true trooper and we appreciate her so much. Thanks!
Janice is great!! I have only gratitude words for her. We were so happy to find her to watch our dog. She took the time to meet Bagel a few weeks before watching him and asked the perfect questions. When we left him Janice made sure to send pictures and videos for our peace of mind. What can I say? When Bagel was leaving he took the time to hug her and give her a lot of kisses, he loves her now!! I will definitely call Janice again!
This is the third time we’ve used Janice as our pet sitter and have always been impressed. My only worry is that my pup won’t want to come home because he has so much fun with her! So amazing and kind.

A typical day
I’m a naturally playful and active person and love long walks myself - so if that’s what your dog needs we’ll get in lots of those! On the other hand, if we’re working with a senior or a pup with mobility issues, I am very intuitive to their needs and will accommodate for them.

I work full time during the week but like to lay low on weekends. If I’m sitting a pup over the weekend I wouldn’t be away for more than an hour or two at most, and will make sure they get the absolute best in care.
