Never Met a Pup I Didn't Love!
Pet care experience
I've been in love with caring for animals since about the age of 5. I've had dogs and other pets for my entire life, and have never been without at least one. I've owned all types of breeds, large and small, puppies and seniors. I currently own two senior pups whom I love dearly and like to pamper. I've yet to meet a dog that I cannot get along with and I love finding ways to entertain and love on them. I would be honored to help care for your fur babies!

Janice did a wonderful job with my two dogs. They were calm, healthy, and very relaxed when I returned home. When she stopped by the following day, the dogs greeted her like she was their best friend. I couldn’t be more pleased!

My pups are female and do not wander out of the yard, so I generally just supervise them when we go outside. When going on walks, they are always on a leash. I also administer medication daily to my pup with Cushing's Disease. My approach to safety would involve a detailed conversation with the pup's owner(s) to determine their need for safety. If there is no fenced in backyard, or the pup is a known escape artist, leashes when outside would be necessary. For puppies and/or more curious canines, I would also find out from the homeowner whether there are any danger areas in the home that the pup should not be allowed to wander. Safety is a very high priority for me!

I do have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, so if your pup needs any type of specialized services, I am happy to provide them. I can administer medication, special treats, specific types of exercise if needed. I'm happy to make them happy!
A typical day
I like to find out from the pup's owners what types of activities they enjoy. Walks, dog park visits, certain toys or games (fetch, tug of war) are all options but may not be a good fit for every dog. It's all about personalized service for me!

Availability
I currently work full time from home, so I do have a great deal of flexibility. I can easily work from your home if you have internet that I can access. This makes me available pretty much any day of the week or weekend, with the exception of other commitments, which are limited.
