Pet care experience
I've had two dogs in succession in the last 23 years--one who I raised from a puppy. I am experienced in senior dog care and end of life care. I enjoy being with dogs and keeping them in their best health with good nutrition and lots of exercise.

Janice was wonderful! She was excellent at communicating with me. Janice was really interested in getting to know my dog and his behaviors. We went out of the county for the week and I felt so comfortable knowing that Cooper was being taken care of by Janice and her husband. We definitely will be boarding with them again!
Janice and Mark are so great! My dog Spunky had a lot of fun being in their care. They made sure she had a lot of exercises and a lot of love. Spunky was tired when I picked her up.
Appreciated the regular pictures Janice sent - AND, all the walks / long hikes that Jackson got - great exercise in addition to running around the fenced back yard, playing with other furry friends!! THANKS also for the care you provided when Jackson was fearful of the weather!!
Janice and her husband Mark are delightful. They are obviously both very caring and attentive. They took wonderful care of our dog, Lily, and provided daily updates with pictures. We’ll definitely leave Lily with them again!

We live in a house with a fenced in backyard. We currently have no pets of our own and our children are all grown. We often have our daughter over to the house and she may bring her dog over to visit. Our home atmosphere is relaxed and comfy. We allow pets on our furniture and beds.

Let me know if your dog or cat has special needs. I appreciate all the information that I can get about your pet's behavior, daily routine and feeding schedule. Also, I would want to know if they have been vomiting a lot or having toileting accidents in the house.
A typical day
We can take the dog to the dog park or on a hike. I can play catch in the back yard. I can take the dog for walks and give them time to smell whatever they are interested in. With cats, I can play with a feather wand and small toys to encourage exercise.

I am a retired nurse along with my husband who is also retired. I usually prefer to have pets in my home. I am accustomed to walking dogs twice daily and am at home much of every day.
