🌺 Aloha! 🌺 🤙🏾 Mahalo (thank you) 🤙🏾 for taking the time to read through my Rover profile! ☺️ As far back as my earliest memories can be recalled, I have had a pure and unconditional love for all animals. In fact, my childhood hoaloha (friends) had predicted that I would become a veterinarian when I grew up. I ended up in the profession of helping fellow humans, but my love for animals has never waned. In fact, it has steadily evolved to something much more pronounced and profound as I have gotten old(er). As an adult, I have had the great honor of having a mouse, indoor-only rabbit, a lovebird, and multiple nā pōpoki (cats). My love for these sentient denizens of the honua (earth) extends to other animal species, of course! Some clients have entrusted me with the care of their other animals: these have included a tortoise, geese, mynah birds, dogs, saltwater and freshwater fish!

We came back from our trip yesterday morning and both of the kitties are waiting by the front door for Janey to come back. I’m so glad she accepted our request because the care and love that Vasquez and Hicks received was phenomenal. Hicks can be pretty temperamental and I’m pretty sure he’s in love with her forever! I highly, highly recommend Janey and we’re already planning to book with again! <3
As always, Janey provided 5 star service. Her care for Colbie makes me feel comfortable knowing that he’s well taken care of. She is my go to sitter!
Absolutely loved working with Janey! This was my first time using Rover, and she completely exceeded my expectations. She was timely, friendly, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. Janey sent the sweetest pictures and videos of my cat Kai that truly made my day. It was clear she treated her with so much care and love. Highly recommend her and would book again in a heartbeat!

It is always incredibly beneficial to know the type of animal it is, the level of socialization it has with humans and other animals, age, personality, and if it has any pre-existing physical conditions, medical conditions, allergies, or otherwise. In general, I like to take a holistic approach to each animal, as they have a moʻolelo (story) and a history that is truly their own. Once I am fully aware about the history, personality, and physical health of an animal, I can make adjustments and accommodations accordingly.
A typical day
It is dependent upon the type of animal, degree of socialization, age, temperament, physical condition, if it is on medication, and so forth. Once I am makaʻala (aware), with a holistic view of the animal, and upon consultation with the pet parent as to the animal’s preferred activities, I can customize a fun and interesting experience for them.

I am currently not employed, and have a very flexible schedule! Additionally, I have my own kaʻa (car) that is always kept up-to-date with insurance, registration, and safety check.
