I have been around pets since I was born! I grew up truly a dog person, always having and helping to care for at least one within the family at all times. I have experience with dogs from newly weened puppies to senior pups at their end of life. In addition to all general daily care tasks, I have experience attending to dogs with injuries and severe allergic reactions. I am comfortable assessing any medical/health situations and taking appropriate action. I am comfortable administering medication. Cats have more recently found their way into my heart. I adore my friend’s and family’s feline friends and enjoy their quirky attitudes. While my direct experience with cats is minimal, I treat all animals with the care and respect they both need and deserve. I am comfortable caring for a cat. My career as a real estate agent allows me great flexibility in my schedule. I can do as much or as little as I choose in any given day and am able to set my own schedule. Much of my work is done from home (or wherever I take my phone and laptop)! Any appointments I have tend to be less than two-three hours in duration. This flexibility affords me the ability to attend to pet care with great ease. We have a multi pet home and welcome all animals! Please note that Rover only offers options for dogs and cats in its pet profile section. Ours include fish( 4 tanks), a hamster, two guinea pigs, and a parrot. Some of our pets are low maintenance, some (ok just the parrot) are a little needier. That’s ok! We understand different animals have different needs and are flexible in accommodating them to give them their best day! In our home- The safety of all animals will be assessed in each situation and always maintained with highest priority. Dogs will be walked and/or taken to the dog park across the street no less than 2x per day. Dogs will generally be given free roam and only crates if/when you say. (Crate not provided.) Cats will be given all the space they want and will have a private area set aside to do their business away from others. In your home- As a realtor I have the experience entering and treating other’s homes with respect. Animals will be cared for as clearly defined in our care agreement.
